Solidarity in its core is a political idea that has a long history, comprises of struggles and has the power to shape the ways we work and we relate to each other. Thus, as globalization reshaped the world of work, this collection of articles scrutinizes forms of solidarity across borders essential for countering the challenges of the contemporary working world. From examining the European Minimum Wage Directive to sectoral networks in times of global crisis, the situation of cross-border platform economies, the analysis of transnational solidarity of tech workers or networks along supply chains, our contributions decode the “who”, "where" and "how" of collective action and offer insights into the evolving dynamics of labour relations across borders.
